Tolulope Arotile: Alleged killer charged with culpable homicide

A Magistrate Court sitting in Kaduna State has charged the alleged killer of Tolulope Arotile.

Nehemiah Adejor, the man who drove the car that killed Nigeria’s first female fighter helicopter, has been charged with culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy not punishable by death.

The prosecution counsel, DSP Martins D. Leo, prayed the court to discharge the second and third suspects, Folorunsho Igbekele Faith and Gbayegun Deji, as their investigation did not find them wanting.

The presiding judge, Justice Benjamin Hassan, discharged the second and third suspects, based on the police investigation.

According to the police, at the end of their investigation, there was no premeditation in the death of Arotile.

Daily Times recalls that Arotile died on July 14, 2020, after she sustained head injuries when she was allegedly knocked down by a car driven by Adejoh, her supposed old classmate, at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna.
