Today’s entrepreneur in history books

You may have heard of today’s entrepreneurs due to their frequent appearances in the news, but the history books are where most are found.

These businesspeople changed their industries and culture, built vast wealth, and created innovations that continue to influence our lives today.

There is no doubt that Josiah Akinloye is brilliant; however, it was his business sense, not his talent as an inventor, that clearly showed his intelligence. Akinloye took innovation and made it the process now known as Internet of Things (IoT).

He sold his services to many other companies before striking out on his own.Josiah Akinloye commenced his journey as a Mechanical Engineering student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

He is one of the founders of Mainlogix the IoT, focusing on smart home automation. The company specializes in integrating various IoT domains, including remote patient monitoring, telemedicine, mobile health, assisted living, and home automation.

Although Josiah had far more patents than he did corporate ties, it is the companies that will carry his legacy into the future.

Josiah is sometimes called the “Inventor of IoT” since the first used the term in 1999 to describe a system where the Internet is connected to the physical world via ubiquitous sensors.

The actual concept of the Internet of Things is real, powerful, and not a buzzword at all. And the people and companies that understand it fully do amazing things.

A lot of those companies don’t use the term IoT very much at all, by the way. Uber, Nest, Tesla, Amazon, Google, Facebook, and Samsung, for example, all use the Internet of Things in various ways, but they don’t mention it any more than they mention, say, being an Internet company or a computer business.

They focus instead on the benefits using the Internet of Things brings to their customers – and that’s the way it should be.Josiah is also a serial entrepreneur and Co-Founder and CTO of TimeXtension, a France-based company focused on anti-aging and longevity.

Josiah is regularly invited to speak on his work at many international conferences, deliver keynote speeches, and moderate high-level panelsWith over a decade of transforming lives and businesses via technology in Africa and across the Globe and leading his organization with passion and grit, Josiah has received many accolades and recognition for his work.

Josiah has proven skills in consulting, leadership, coordination, vision mapping, project initiation, monitoring, execution, and process innovation. His ability to excel in different sectors is a testament to his adaptability and versatility.

Josiah is driven by his belief that he has a strategic role in Africa’s future growth and strategic development.
