There’s no fraud in NJI – Spokesman

The National Judicial Institute (NJI) has faulted a media report over alleged financial fraud in the institute.

The spokesperson for the NJI, Mr Emezie Madu, stated this while reacting to the media report.
Reacting to the report that was published in the newspaper yesterday, Madu clarified that the Institute has never at any point in time engage in fraudulent acitvities.

He said, ” I wish to assure members of the public that there is no infraction or allegation of fraud rocking the NJI.

“The institute is being run in accordance with the act that established it.

” It has continued to discharge its responsibilities of training of judges without blemish.

“The sterling records of the NJI in this regard is in public domain for any one who needs clarification on such.”

Madu further stated that the transfer of personnel if any at all was a routine process usually carried out by the institute just like any other organisation.

“Any Administrator appointed to head the institute serves a tenure”, he added.

The spokesman of the Institute further reaffirmed that it is on record that the NJI remains the foremost institute for training of judges.

He further disclosed that, “the present management led by Hon Justice Rosaline Bozimo has taken the institute to greater heights in the last three years.”
