"I Swear I Never Dated Ubi Franklin – Emma Nyra
In a recent interview with Golden Icon, Singer, Emma Nyra has sworn that she never dated Ubi Franklin as most people and media tabloids had claimed. She also said she never dated any of the guys from Made Men Music, she was most probably referring to Iyanya. She says she is happy for Ubi and wishes him well.
Lots of people think her denial should have come earlier when the rumors of their relationship were hot not now that Ubi is engaged to another woman, of course, what she was going to say. Here is the interview
On if she dated Ubi;
“No I never dated him. I get that him and Iyanya gist. No, we never dated. We have a business deal together I never dated any of them. I swear I never dated him. I was dating someone else in the industry, but we’re not dating right now” she said
On her opinion on Ubi Franklin’s engagement to Lilian Esoro;
“Yes I am happy for him. He is in a happy place. To marry somebody, you have to be in a certain level in your life. I am happy for him”.
On her relationship with Ubi’s fiancée;
“I don’t really know her very well. Because when they met I was more of doing my own thing so I don’t really know her very well but I wish them the best really” she said.
