Three suicide bombers, suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists, killed 12 people and injured at least 24 others in Mashimari village in Konduga Local Government Area, Borno State earlier today, SaharaReporters said, quoting a local rescue worker.

Mohammed Ibrahim, who works for the Borno State Emergency Management Agency, said three terrorists stormed the village and fired shots indiscriminately before detonating their explosives.

He said that at least 24 people were wounded in the attack and have been taken to Maiduguri General Hospital.
The village hosts an internally displaced person (IDP) camp and a military camp. Boko Haram terrorists attacked the village in May, killing two soldiers.
