Simon Zenke scores winner for Tubize

The Nigerian’s goal sealed maximum points for the Blood and Gold during their visit to the Soevereinstadion in Belgium

Simon Zenke scored the winner for Tubize in their Belgian second division 2-1 away victory at Lommel United on Saturday.

The 27-year-old striker completed the fight back for Régis Brouard’s men after they were unlucky to be trailing on the stroke of halftime with Christophe Bertjens opening the scoring for the home side.

In the 70th minute, Zenke’s striker partner Sega Keita led the fight back after converting from the spot, three minutes later the former Karabükspor striker struck to hand the Stade Leburton outfit an away victory.

The goal was the Kaduna born player’s third in six league games with his side placed fifth on the Belgian second tier after collecting just 17 points from 14 matches.
