Saraki compensates victims of electoral violence

The President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, yesterday compensated victims of electoral violence during the November 18, 2017 local government elections in Kwara state.
The victims, Mr Issa Adaara and Mr Jamiu Adaara whose cars were burnt by some hoodlums in Moro local government area during the council polls were given two brand new vehicles by the Senate President.
The Toyota Camry cars were handed over to the beneficiaries by the Director General of the ABS Mandate Constituency Office, Ilorin, Alh Musa Abdullahi at a brief ceremony which had stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Kwara north led by Alh AbdulRaheem Adisa in attendance.
Musa who spoke on behalf the Senate President said the compensation was in fulfilment of Saraki’s commitment to reward loyalty.
