RUMOURS: Barcelona face competition in Yerry Mina pursuit

La Liga giants in pole position, but Bayern Munich and AC Milan are also keen and have enquired about Palmeiras defender’s availability

Barcelona are unlikely to have things all their own way as they seek to tie up a deal for Yerry Mina, according to Sport.

The highly-rated Palmeiras defender already has an agreement in place with Barca – as revealed by his agent Jair Mina – but no formal deal has been struck, and that has kept the door ajar for others to steal the 22-year-old away from Camp Nou.

Bayern and AC Milan have had scouts in Brazil for Mina’s recent club outings, and both are said to have enquired about his potential availability.
