Rotary club continues his humanitarians’ level

 Over 400 customized bags and thousands of exercise books, rulers, biros, pencils, erasers, and sharpener, were recently shared to pupils of Temidire Primary School in Akute, Ogun state, by the Rotary Club of Ikeja South led by Rotarian Azuth Arinze, the President of the club and publisher/Editor-in-chef, YES Int’l Magazine.

 

The buubling Ogun border community literally stood still as the Rotarian arrived in a convoy. Arinze, the seasoned journalist, was ably supported by past presidents of the service club including Mr Bade Oke, Mr Niyi Adesanya, Mr Remi Bello, Dr Julius Nwokoro, Mr Remi Babarinde as well as other Rotarians like Michael Effiong, Okey Anachuna, Funmi Abe, Hilary Egeregor, Segun Agbi, Andrew Esechie and Omolara Omotosho.

 

Equally part of the team were veterian broadcaster and Biscon Communications chairman, Prince Bisi Olatilo; Enconium weekly publisher, Mr Kunle Bakare; MD/CEO, Marketing and promotions Concepts, Mr Kunle Onime, alongside a special delegation sent by the Ogun state sector commander, Federal road safety Corps, Mr. Clement Oladele and others. “This is just one of our own little ways of serving humanity. We thank Rotary and every member that have supported us,” said Arinze. The Rotary President’s star project was in fulfillment of the promise he made during his investiture as the 31st president of the club. Excited pupils, teachers and Temidire community leaders showered praise and thanks on the Rotary Club members for making a difference in their lives.

 

Daily Times gathered that about 10 years ago, one of the past presidents of Rotary Club of Ikeja South, Mr Remi Bello, managing director, Crittal Hope Aluminium facilitated the construction of Temidire Primary school.
