Rivers Angels reclaim NWPL top spot
Rivers Angels head coach, Edwin Okon has said his side have come to stay at the top-flight summit after a convincing win against neighbours, Abia Angels.
The Jewel of Rivers dismissed the Umuahia landladies 4-1 in Thursday’s Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) matchday 12 clash at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Okon said his attention has shifted to a successful completion of the season games at top-flights, Sunshine Queens next Wednesday in Akure.
