Relegation Would Be Disastrous – Carver
Newcastle’s player, John Carver, has said he’s not even thinking about the threat of a “disastrous” relegation – despite Newcastle United’s perilous position.
The club is five points above third-from-bottom Sunderland with four games left to play after Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Swansea City.

Half of the teams below Newcastle have a game in hand, including Saturday’s in-form opponents Leicester City.
Bookmakers have slashed the odds on United – who have lost their last seven games – going down.
But head coach Carver says he can’t allow himself to think about relegation.
