PTI alumni association, holds annual re-union day
The Petroleum Training Institute, (P.T.I) National Alumni Association Effurun, Delta State is set to hold her annual re-union day slated for September 30th, 2017 at the Conference centre of the Institute under the distinguished chairmanship of Dr. Alfred Okoigun, Director, ARCO Petrochemical Engineering Company Ltd.
The National President of the Association Engr. Augustine Uwedjorjevwe who disclosed this in a media chat stated that the event will feature prominent captains of industries and top government officials who are friends and well-wishers of the Association from within and outside the country.
Chief Okhifo Patrick (JP) KSM Chairman Organizing committee who spoke with our correspondent hinted that the major event of this year re-union day will be the official launching of digital P.T.I portal by distinguished Senator Nimi Barigha Amange, LLB, LB who is the current pro Chancellor of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun as special guest of honour at the event to place the institute amongst the ivory towers in Nigeria that are fully digitalized.
Sir Effiong Johnson Secretary organizing committee who also spoke disclosed that the event will feature the duo of Chief Solomon Iyobosa Edebiri and Engr. Cletus Ihioda as co-guests of honour while the national president of the P.T.I Alumni Association Engr. Augustine Uwedjorjevwe and Prof. Sunny Esayegbemu Iyuke the principal of P.T.I will be host and chief host respectively.
Comrade Edo Irikefe, National Social Welfare Director/Chairman mobilization committee, Comrade Ogbeifo and other dignitaries who spoke observed that by this launching P.T.I will become one of the first institutions to go fully digital and to become an I.T hub in Nigeria.
