Praying for the President’s son is our collective responsibility — NGO

President Mohammadu Buhari’s only son who was involved in a motorbike accident, needs the collective prayers of every Nigerian to guarantee his quick recovery, say a Non-governmental organisation (NGO).
Speaking yesterday in Jos, at a one day non denominational prayer summit organised for the recovery of the President’s son, Yusuf Buhari and to also pray for the politicking year, the leader of the NGO, otherwise known as Global Peace and Life Rescue Initiative (GOPRI), Mr. Melvin Ejeh said “as Nigerians, we ought to always have our country at heart and pray for our leaders at all times.
“The time to pray for the country is now and to do this, it will be instructive that we put aside all religions, political and ethnicity divide amongst us”, he said.
Mr Ejeh frowned at those who took to social media to make uncomplimentary remarks on the unfortunate incident that befell the first family, saying that it is ungodly and that Nigerians should always be their brothers keeper.
However, both Christians and Muslims clerics were at the event and both offered prayers
describing the accident as unfortunate and depressing, praying that God Almighty would grant the president’s son quick recovery.
“The abiding grace of God that allowed the ebullient young man to survive the crash will see to his quick and complete recovery”, they prayed.
Daily Times reports that Yusuf was on Tuesday involved in a bike accident around Gwarimpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
