Poor governance responsible for Zamfara banditry – PPN guber candidate
Zamfara state Peoples Party of Nigeria, PPN, Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Bashir Adamu has attributed the insecurity challenge facing the state to the poverty and poor governance.
Speaking to newsmen in an interview, Adamu, popularly called IMAD, said that, the APC led government was insensitive with the economic development of the people, especially, youths.
He explained that, most of the people involved in the banditry activities were youths, a situation of serious concern to the state.
According to him, instead of the APC led administration to focus on the youths development and welfarism amongst the teeming populace but refused.
“This ugly trend of banditry in the state was merely an act of indolence on the part of the government, as no proper attention was accosted to youths development”, he added.
According to him, PPN has defined policies and blueprint for the development of the state, if elected.
Adamu stated that, his administration, if elected would give serious attention to fight against poverty.
He therefore, urged people of the state to rally round behind the PPN as an option for the attainment of development of the state.
