Politicians charged to kowtow modern media trend

Nigerian Politicians were yesterday told to change their political ideology to connote with the technological advancement in the media industries.
Sen. Dr. Sam Egwu representing Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, who gave this charge, urged practicing journalists to defend the nation’s fledgling democracy.
He made this known in Abakaliki during the 2018 Press Week of Nigeria Union of journalists, (NUJ) Ebonyi State Chapter.
According to him, “news reportage has changed following the discovering of modern technology; today a journalist can send his report from here.
“Today reportage is no longer analogue as it were before 1999, this is because of the advancement in technology, and today journalists can send their report to their head offices from anywhere they are.
