Police arrest 54 year old man for defiling neighbours 11 year old daughter for two years

One Felix Idehen who is 54 year old is currently been held by the Lagos State Police Command for defiling an 11year old girl (name witheld) severally in the Shomolu area of the state.
The suspect who is a neighbour to the survivor and her parent had taken advantage of the girl while her parents had left her at home to run errands.
The suspect who is transporter and resides at No. 8, Imagbon street Fadeyi was arrested by policemen attached to the Onipanu Police Division.
The suspect had been in the business of defiling the survivor who is a primary school pupil since 2016 but met his waterloo when he was caught on August 24th, 2018.
According to the Shomolu Coordinator of Child Protection Network (CPN), Toyin Okanlawon, the survivor had disclosed that the suspect forcefully removed her under wears then had carnal knowledge of her.
Okanlawon said, “Human Development Initiative (HDI) Iwaya, Yaba informed me of the case. The defilement started two years ago. The suspect has been serially having sex with the minor since 2016. He even turned her to a sex toy. When we asked the little girl, she said the last time Idehen had sex with her was on Monday August 19th and 23rd. And he had three rounds of sex.”
The Shomolu coordinator also stated that the survivor told the rescuer that the serial rapist told had threatened her not to inform her mother about what they always did.
“The minor claimed that the suspect always fondle her breasts and abused her when no one was around. The survivor has been given a medical paper for further investigation at Mirabel Centre at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).”
The suspect who had initially denied the allegations upon his arrest had also confessed to the crime.
Okanlawon said, “ The IPO in charge of the case told us that the suspect has confessed to committing the evil act.”
