PDP rejects INEC’s inconclusive rerun election in Imo

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare Saturday Imo North senatorial rerun election inconclusive, claiming that the party won the election with landslide.

The party said the figures of the result announced by INEC so far was not the actual result of the election. It also accused some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of conniving with collation officers to allegedly doctored the election results.

The party specifically accused Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and a member of Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Chike Okafor of conniving with some hired INEC collating officers to rewrite the results of the election.
