OPC, Ijaw Group Drum Support for Jonathan in Lagos
Some ethnic nationality groups, including the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and the Ijaw Coalition Group (ICG), on Wednesday, reiterated their conviction, through a rally, that President Goodluck Jonathan would be re-elected on Saturday.
The rally, which kicked off with a walk from the Toll Gate area of Lagos, saw the groups dancing through the popular Ikorodu/Western Avenue, which occasioned heavy traffic.
Members of the groups were dressed in colourful T-Shirts, embossed with the pictures of Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo.
