Okada man faces murder charge

A 22-year-old commercial motorcyclist (also known as Okada Man), Adegoke Damilola, who allegedly conspired with others still at large to murder a man, was on Wednesday remanded on the orders of an Akure Chief Magistrates’ Court.
The accused, whose address is unknown, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and murder.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Musa Al-Ayunus, who gave the order, said the accused should remain behind bars till April 24 for bail consideration.
He said the case file should be duplicated and a copy sent to the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in the Ministry of Justice for advice.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Jimoh Ibrahim told the court that the accused conspired with others still at large to kill a man, Aladenusi Adekunle at Ojomo Market in Owo in Ondo State on March 22 at about 7.00 p.m.
The offences contravened Sections 316 and 324 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ondo State 2006.
The case has been adjourned until April 24 for mention.
