When Ogun go agog for Gbenga Daniel and his wife Funke

Sagamu in Ogun State was agog recently when former governor of Ogun State Otunba Gbenga Daniel held his annual and 13th edition of thanksgiving on Sunday January, 28 at Abraham s Termacle, Erinwole Road, GRA. Sagamu Ogun State.

The church was filled beyond the capacity as the congregation made up of important dignities, VIP guests, service government officials and politicians from all over the country made it to the annual thanksgiving and memorial service put together by Daniel
Guests were entertained with sonorous praise and worship songs from over 20 choir groups that came for the competition at the annual event, where Daniel and his ageless wife, Yeye Olufunke, hosted the people of their hometown.

With the large turn turnout, it was glaring that Daniel is still loved by his people whom he governed for eight years as virtually all his loyalists were in attendance at what looked like a reunion of sorts for them.

They were full of smiles as they exchanged pleasantries.

Daniel then deputy, Alhaja Salimot Badru came with her husband, Titi Oseni the then Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Kayode Amusan and Mrs. Folake Marcus Bello were some of the known loyalist of the former governor that were present
