NPFL side Plateau suspends training after Pele’s death

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club Plateau United will not train on Thursday in honor of its head coach Audu Pele, who passed on on Wednesday afternoon.

This was revealed by the management of Plateau United Jos following Pele’s death. Pele died on Wednesday afternoon after a brief illness at his residence along Ali Kazaure community in Jos North local government area of the state.

Team’s media officer Mr. Albert Dakup who announced Pele’s death has described him as an unassuming man whose name has been etched in the history of the Nigeria Professional Football League club.
