NIMS 2022: NIMASA DG welcomes IMO Secretary General, Kitack Lim in Lagos

The Secretary General of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Mr Kitack Lim has arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos on Sunday for the Nigeria International Maritime Summit (NIMS) 2022
An excited Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Dr Bashir Jamoh who announced the IMO top guns arrival on Sunday said the NIMS conference would be used to showcase Nigeria’s potentials to the world.
The NIMS conference is kick-starting on Monday morning at the Oriental Hotel on Victoria Island in Lagos State.

At the NIMS 2022, regional policies and operational perspectives to Decarbonization and Green House Gas Emissions in shipping will be the focus.
The Federal Ministry of Transportation and its Agencies in collaboration with the organized maritime private sector under the auspices of Nigeria International Maritime Summit are the organisers of the event.
