A new international market, named Abioro Market, situated along Ijoko Road, Sango-Ijoko Local Council Development Area (LCDA), was officially commissioned recently.
Commissioning the market, the Baba Loja of the market, Alhaji Kabir Abiade, said the market was opened in order to bring it nearer to the people in Ado-Odo, Ota local government in particular and Ogun state in general.
According to him, the market is purely for all kind of food sellers like the one we have in Idi-oro market of Lagos state
He further advised both market men and women to use the market facilities put in place judiciouslly.
He therefore called on Ogun state government to assist the market by giving us basic amenities such as road, toilet, bank etc because the market serve as a nerve centre for Ogun State and also to boost the economic development of the state.
The occasion was well attended by eminent personalities across the country.
