NASCO customers get $3,000, others win prizes
NASCO Group of Companies, in a bid to encourage customers and other stakeholders to continue to patronise its products/ services, has rewarded three of its customers with $1,000 each ($3,000).
The lucky customers also got free tickets to this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
These were part of the highlights of the company’s 2016 Customers/Partners Award Ceremony, held at the weekend in Jos, Plateau state capital.
NASCO also rewarded several other customers with awards and gifts television sets; washing machines, etc, for their continued loyalty to the organisation.
According to the Head, Supply Chain, NASCO Group, Mr. Nasir Khan, “The three customers sponsored to the holy land would also be given 1000 dollars each, to make them comfortable while in Hajj.”
Khan said that, it was the company’s policy to reward and appreciate it’s esteemed customers at the end of every business year.
He said the the awardees were drawn from the six geopolitical zones, adding that the initiative was targeted at inculcating the right values of goods and services within the minds of young Nigerians, so as to deepen the ideal perception of what customer service should be.
Our correspondent however reports that the ceremony specifically targeted NASCO customers, who were best performing partners, including transporters. They were in the Gold, Silver and Bronze categories.
Those who got the Hajj tickets are under the Gold category, were, Alhaji Ibrahim Danlami of Hayat Integrated Limited in Minna, Sidi and Sons from Kaduna; and Aminu Mohammed from Minna.
However, Mr. Sunny Ofuegbu, of Patsunny Limited, based in Makurdi, Benue state, who spoke on behalf of the awardees, thanked NASCO for appreciating them.
Plateau State Commissioner for Commerce and Hon. Ezekiel Daju, said that NASCO, which was established in 1963, has done so well with its consistency in delivering quality products, which the state was proud of, especially as the host state of the company’s headquarters in Jos.
He added that the NASCO’s brand had stood the test of time in spite of challenges it has faced.
The commissioner expressed gratitude to the company for its contribution to Plateau economy, particularly in the area of employment generation.
