Nasarawa Speaker commends 7th Assembly for passing 21 bills, 41 resolutions
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau has commender his colleagues in the state’s 7th Assembly for laudable parliamentary achievements within just two years in the hollow chamber.
The Speaker on Wednesday in Lafia gave kudos the the lawmakers in an address to mark the end of the second session of the 7th Assembly.
He specifically praised the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly for passing 21 bills and 41 resolutions within the last two years.
According to him, the 7th Assembly was able to achieve much as a result of unity and good working relationship among the lawmakers.

He said “since inception of the 7th Assembly, some of our achievements are, We have passed 21 bills and 41 resolutions. The bills comprised of 17 executive bills and 4 private members bills. I can’t thank you enough for our unity and effective synergy as well as collaboration with other arms of government in the state.
“1 want to applaud you for your support and cooperation. This assembly I have rated it to be the best as we have competent members, who are doing their job diligently. I also want to applaud you for your roles and your integrity at all times and I urge you to keep it up”.
Jatau urged member of the state parliament to be ready to do more in complementing efforts of the state executive yo give the good people of Nasarawa meaningful governance.
The Speaker promised an enhanced cordial working relationship between the three arms of government in the state.
” I want to assure His Excellency of our continued commitment and determination to give him all the necessary and needed support to succeed” he added.
