Nasarawa Dep Gov bags traditional title

The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Silas Ali Agara, has been conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of KAFISU of Uke in karshi Development area of Karu local government council of the state.

The chieftaincy title was conferred on the Deputy Governor by the traditional ruler (Yakanajeh) of Uke chiefdom Alh. Ahmad Abdullahi Hassan, at his palace yesterday.

The traditional ruler explained that he gave the Nasarawa state number two citizen the title of KAFISU in the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and in recognition of his sterling leadership qualities which stands him out from other politicians in Nasarawa State.

Responding, the Deputy Governor who was taken unaware by the honour, promised to reciprocate the gesture by being the best he can be to the people of Nasarawa State.
