My mandate will not be taken for granted – Abiru

The Chief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Lateef Abiru who has just been re-elected for the fourth consecutive term at the March 9th Governorship and the House of Assembly election has said that his renewed mandate will not be taken for granted.

Abiru who is representing Shomolu constituency 02 assured his constituents that he will not as usual betray their trust and the confidence reposed in him.

The lawmaker gave the words of assurance while thanking the people of Bariga after he was declared the winner of the election.

Abiru who declared the election as free and fair, added that there were no issue of failed smart card reader as recorded during the presidential and National Assembly election in some areas.

He further thanked the people for their orderly conduct while according to him, voting for a greater Lagos saying their trust in the All Progressives Congress (APC) as demonstrated at the election would not be taken for granted. He re-assured the people of the area of more development.

Abiru urged Lagosians to continue to have faith in the Greater Lagos Project, Stressing that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will give the people the greater Nigeria that the people deserved.
