“Let me break up in peace” — Nkechi Blessing
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has taken to social media to address the issue of her breakup and how Nigerians have been reacting to it.
The screen diva in a post seen on her Instastory complained about Nigerians bothering her over her failed relationship with Mike Adeyemi.
In her words: “Nigerians won’t let you break up in peace, It’s not their fault tho. It’s me that got involved with someone who can’t move on without announcing. Total bs!”
In another post, she pointed out that Nigeria is the only country where one gets hounded for breaking up and not announcing it.
“Only in Nigeria you break up for over 7 months and people won’t let you drink water and drop cup Okay I was supposed to hold a conference meeting to announce break up …..Odiegwu!!!” she wrote in her caption.
As gathered by Daily Times, in February, news filtered out on social media that Nkechi Blessing and her then-boyfriend, Mike Adeyemi, broke up.
