Last batch of PVCs ready for collection at all INEC local govt offices, says Commission

…Releases final timetable
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has announced that the last batch of the Permanent Voters Card has released to all its offices across the 774 local government areas across the country, advising all those who have for as a voter but yet to collect their PVC to take advantage of this opportunity and do so.
Making this known while releasing its timetable for the remaining activities for the 2019 General Election, INEC advised all those yet to collect their cards to do so before the late hour rush.
On its timetable for the remaining part of the election, INEC said its publication of notice of poll, billed for January 2nd, has been done and that by 7th January, it will publish official register of voters.
While also announcing that publication of list of presidential and National Assembly candidates will be done on17th Jan, it added that, 31st January will be for the publication of list of governorship and state house of assembly candidates.
Submission of names of party agents for presidential and National Assembly election to the Electoral Officer of the Local Government Areas will take place on 1st of February and16th February will be for the Submission of names of party agents for governorship and state house of assembly election.
While 14th February is set aside as the last day for presidential and National Assembly campaign, 28th February will be the last day for governorship and state house of assembly campaign and 16th February will be the Election day for Presidential and National Assembly positions and 2nd March is Election day for governorship and state house of assembly positions.
