Laspotech to Convocate 7,022 Students

The management of Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) has announced that it would convocate a total of 7,022 students across all the full time and part-time session at its 23rd convocation ceremony billed to hold tomorrow at the main campus of the institution in Ikorodu.
Speaking to newsmen, the Rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Abioye Lawal, disclosed that the graduands are fully prepared to face the challenges of life, because of the special entrepreneurial skills and computer education they have acquired.
Abioye, whose tenure as the polytechnic rector elapses on June 1, this year, has been able to transform the polytechnic of excellence into a world class institution, with the various academic upgrading and structural developments, courtesy of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) and Lagos State government.
Present at the press briefing were the Special Adviser to the governor on Education, Otunba Fatai Olukoga; Registrar of the institute, Princess Olufunke Ige; Deputy Registrar, Information and Public Relations, Mr. Olarenwaju Kuye, amongst others. Expected guests at the convocation ceremony is the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN, who will sending forth the graduands into the labour market.
