The governor stated this on Thursday when he paid an unscheduled visit to Olam Grains and Cashew Processing Factory at Ogbondoroko in Asa Local Government Area of the state.
AbdulRazaq, who lauded the economic impact the factory, offers the people of Kwara state and Nigeria at large, especially in the areas of job opportunities to a minimum of 1,500 people, further assured that government will encourage the expansion of businesses across the state.
While reacting to the complaints of the association of cashew farmers and dealers, he promised to invite them for an interface at an appropriate time towards addressing their problems.
Earlier, the Plant Manager, Olam Cashew Processing factory, Sajjad Hussein, stated that there are five stages involved in cashew processing and that it takes up to eight days before the end product is realised.
