Kontogora House on Fire
A fire outbreak has occurred at the Federal Mortgage Bank Building in the popular Mamman Kontagora House located at the Marina Axis of Lagos state.
Eyewitnesses in the area have stated that the fire is raging at the time of this report.
In the meantime, the Head of the Lagos State Fire Service, Mr Rasaq Fadipe has confirmed the incident and also stated that officials of the fire service have been deployed to the building to put out the fire.
Speaking to our correspondent on phone, Mr Fadipe revealed that the fire might have been caused by two diesel powered generators on one of the floors of the building.
He however assured that the fire would be put out in no distant time while investigations would continue
