Kidnappers lay siege in Delta, kidnap PDP chieftain’s wife at gun point.

Rampaging kidnappers operating across Delta State have allegedly kidnapped the wife of the People`s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in the State, Mrs. mercy Ugboma.

She was said to have been kidnapped by six-man kidnap gang around Okwe Area on her way to church vigil on Saturday and was taken away in her Prado jeep after her abductors allegedly forced her to surrender the key of the car before driving her to an unknown destination.
But the police commissioner in the State, Mr. Zanna Ibrahim, who confirmed the incident to our reporter in Asaba, said the kidnappers abandoned the woman`s jeep midway in their journey and took another vehicle, adding that the police at the `B` Division who got wind of the incident, chased them, unfortunately they (kidnappers) had disappeared.

The Kidnapped victim’s husband, Mr. Alanza Uche Ugboma who spoke to our reporter confirmed that the kidnappers had established with him and that were asking for N25 million.
