KEDCO moves to meet customers’ demand
The Kano State Electricity Distribution Company (Kedco) has said that the company was into discussion with some independent power generation companies, in order to generate extra megawatts to complement what it is currently getting from the national grid. This was made known by the Company’s Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Kandi, in Kano, on Monday, during an interview with the Daily Times.
According to him, the company could no longer depend solely on what the Federal Government was generating at the moment, as it failed to meet up with costumers demand.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (KEDCO) Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has stated that there would be no more casualisation of staff in the company.
