Kebbi: Over 1000 applicants get free UTME forms

The state chairman of Youths Advancement for Reorientation, Counselling and Advocacy, Alhaji Nafiu Umar has said that the association has concluded arrangement for free distribution of Jamb forms to at least 1000 applicants across the state. The NGO chief added that the essence of targeting youths is because the future of the country lies in their hands therefore they must be attended to. He described youths neglect as a time bomb. He pointed out that the nongovernmental organisation is operating on two key components, which are education and human developments which capture skills acquisition for both genders. In skills acquisition, Umar stated that at least 500 youths benefitted in tailoring, make-up and soap making. “We source our funds from individuals”, Umar said He called on the state government to assist them saying their relationship should be symbiotic.
