INEC Review of 2019 General Election with the Media Begins In Abuja

The programme of review of the 2019 General election organised by INEC for the Media has commenced at the Sheraton hotel Abuja.

Festus Okoye, INEC CommIssion on Publicity said the event is to harness positives of the 2019 election as well as review obvious negatives with the aim of improving INEC’s performance.

He said since there are cases in the courts arising from the election, the Commission will be careful speaking on the outcome of the election and asked participants to make suggestions on the way forward for elections in Nigeria.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Yakubu, Secretary of the Commission, four commissioners, NUJ president and many media executive are present.
