Ilorin youths empower less privileged

 

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association IEYDA has distributed empowerment items worth millions of naira to the less privilege in the Ilorin Emirate community. The distribution exercise, which took place on Monday at the Emir’s palace, attracted dignitaries from all walks of life – including traditional and religious leaders.

The items, included sewing machines, clippers and generators, NABTEB forms create of soft drinks, food stuff among others, while beneficiaries included indigent students, widows, and petty traders among others.

The Chairman of the association, Mallam Abdullahi Babatunde Salau, said the variety of items distributed was based on the request of each beneficiary.
