I may be forced to probe past administrations, says Gov. Bindow

Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, told a mammoth crowd in Yola that he may probe the past administrations if they push him to the wall.

According to him, he does not want to join issues with anybody in the state as Adamawa masses voted him to only work and take the state out of the shackles of underdevelopment for which many of the state’s elite are not happy with that.
Addressing the people who converged under the platform of “Team Bindow” to show their support for him, Governor Bindow said that the white paper on the Justice Bobboi Panel of investigation and records of previous governments investigated by the panel is still available to either indict them or wash them clean of all forms of offences.
Bindow who spoke in Hausa language made the disclosure on Wednesday at the banquet hall of the Government House Yola during a solidarity visit on him by the ‘Team Bindow’.
“The past administration left the state in rumbles of underdevelopment. I took the bull by the horn to embark on aggressive road constructions and the state is (being) given a face lift.
‘’I have to tell you the truth because you people voted me into power. Any group who attempt to undermine this administration would not be forgiven by God.
‘’I have not come to steal and will not steal. I have not borrowed any kobo from any bank for the job I’m doing. Please go and crosscheck at various banks”.
The political group, ‘Team Bindow’, with over 200 political associations under it, pledged to support the governor come 2019 gubernatorial elections in the state.
Earlier the Chief of Staff to the Governor Alhaji Abdurahaman Abba Jimeta said Saudi Arabian authority has identified with the good conduct of the pilgrims from the state and pledge to support the present government in its developmental stride in the state.
