How my colleague introduced me to network marketing – Thembi Shilenge

Crypto influencer and blockchain mentor Thembi Portia Shilenge has been in the limelight for the past two years as one of the rising and dynamic female entrepreneurs in South Africa.

The chemical engineer-turned-crypto CEO has in a recent Instagram live chat, @thembishilengee, informed her followers that she had in the past two and half years bought 12 properties under her name in South Africa and Dubai, UAE.

According to Thembi Shilenge, who is CEO of Crypto Dimension and regional CEO of CoinW Exchange, she accumulated most of her capital through crypto investing and network marketing, stressing that she is a long-term investor and also a day trader.

She further shared with the live audience her journey into the crypto business.
“I was initially introduced to cryptocurrency through network marketing by a former colleague of mine. The platform he introduced me to is where you can invest your money and get paid returns in Bitcoin. That was when I started collecting bitcoin and realising its potential to provide me financial freedom in the future,” she recounted.

Speaking of the difficulties she encountered in her cryptocurrency career, Thembi Shilenge said: “I go through a lot of challenges just like all entrepreneurs do, but I have grown thick skin towards being called a scammer. Cryptocurrency is a big shift from the normal traditional financial system so it’s normal that it eludes a lot of people, especially those who are too lazy to research.”

Thembi Shilenge added: “All types of investments have profits and losses, but people can’t stand to take the losses so they are quick to point the finger at you when they lose, unlike when they are winning because of you, where they claim most of the credit.”
