High Turnout in Shiroro, Munya

Accreditation for the long awaited Presidential and National Assembly elections took off by 8:30am in Shiroro and Munya Local Government Areas of Niger State as voters turn out en masse.
The process for card verification is slow as over 15 minutes is spent on each eligible voter.

However, the Supervising Officer Adamu Ibn Adamu pleaded with voters to stay away at least three meters from the accreditation centre so that they can be well attended to.

He implored Presiding officers to always press the fingers of voters very well on the card reader for it to capture them.

While speaking to journalists on challenges with the verification exercise, Adamu urged the people to remember that the 18 polling units have back up card readers.
