Gunmen abduct wife of APC aspirant in Ogun

Gunmen numbering about four suspected to be kidnappers, on Sunday evening,  abducted wife of a chairmanship candidate under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming October 8 Local Government election in Ogun.

The politician’s wife, identified as Mrs. Kudirat Balogun, was allegedly stormed the family home located at Olomoore axis of Abeokuta, the state capital, from where they seized the woman at gun point and whisked her away to an unknown destination.

The victim’s son, Kehinde Balogun, who spoke with journalists yesterday in Abeokuta, explained that the abductors took his mother away when they could not provide a satisfactory answer for the whereabouts of his father, Gafar Balogun is eyeing the chairmanship seat of Ewekoro local government area of the state.
