Gov Lalong begins journey to 2019, leverages on peace, security

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state has officially began his journey to return to Government House come 2019, leveraging on relative peace and security attained in his sojourn as governor. Lalong said beyond peace and security the All Progressive Congress (APC), has both at the National and state levels has also brought prosperity and progress in the country. He said both the opposition party governors and the APC governors have all prayed for president Buhari today in Abuja urging him to continue with the good works of fighting poverty, insecurity and corruption. Lalong stated this on Friday in Jos at the Opening of his Campaign Office to kick start his journey towards re-election to seat of power. “I have just returned from Abuja where all the governors gathered to greet President Buhari including the PDP governors. We have all assured the president that we shall all work to return him as president to continue with the good works”. Lalong who was thrilled with the crowed that turned out to witness the commissioning of his campaign office said he is rest assured that victory is certain in the next general elections.
