Gov Fintiri vows to remove any non performing cabinet member

Adamawa State governor, Rt Hon Ahmadu Fintiri has charged his newly sworn – in cabinet members to double their performance in delivering the government-christened 8-point agenda.

The governor at the swearing-in ceremony of the twenty-five commissioners yesterday urged them to work with him in making sure Adamawa people get the best out of his administration.

He however warned the commissioners thar he will not hesitate to remove anyone who is found wanting or is performing below expectation.

Governor Fintiri said in the last four years of his first term, he has delivered on his 11-point agenda and wants executive members to redouble their efforts on good service delivery to the people of the state.

He reminded the new commissioners his stewardship to the people of Adamawa State has attracted many commendation from prominent people of Adamawa state and around the world.

Fintiri expected the collective effort of the new and old commissioners to work hard knowing the fact that the state and the country are going through a turbulent socio- economic moment.

He warned them to eschewed corruption and corruption tendencies as their call to service to the state is not a call to riches.

He vowed that any commissioner caught in the very act of corruption will be severely dealt with.

“If you intend to make wealth you are in the wrong place. My counsel to you is that you can voluntarily ship out before I ship you out if you are caught in the very act of corruption. “Fintiri said.
