Four COVID-19 patients discharged in Abuja

The Federal Capital Terrotery Abuja has confirmed the discharge of four COVID-19 patients, bringing the total number of discharged to eleven 11 in the FCT as at 12:30am, April 11th, 2020.

Also the Lagos state government announced the death of another COVID-19 patient, making it the fourth COVID-19 related deaths recorded in the state.
The federal capital territory administration (FCTA) announced this in a tweet on Saturday.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, on Saturday announced the death of another COVID-19 patient, making it the fourth COVID-19 related deaths recorded in the state.
Abayomi, through his verified Twitter account, said that the patient died of COVID-19 related complications in a private hospital in Lagos.
He, however, did not disclose further information about the patient’s sex, age or nationality.
Giving an update of cases in the state, Abayomi said that there were 166 confirmed cases, 111 of the cases were active, 46 had been discharged, two evacuated, while four had died.
Abayomi disclosed further that three of the confirmed cases had been transferred to Ogun, being their state of residence.
The commissioner advised residents to continue to obey the social distancing rules toward ensuring a disease-free society.
Earlier, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), said that Nigeria currently has 305 confirmed cases, with 58 of the cases discharged, while seven deaths were recorded.
