Fire guts INEC office in Ondo, over 5000 card readers destroyed
On Thursday night, the Ondo State office of the Independent National Electoral Commission was thrown into confusion as fire gut the premises of the commission, Daily Times gathered.
The fire outbreak which started around 8:45pm at the ICT unit.
Over 5000 card readers have been destroyed in the inferno.
The cause of the outbreak is yet to be ascertain.

The Ondo State fire service is less than 500 meters from the commission.
The commission is situated in Alagbaka area of Akure, the state capital.
Governorship election in the state had been scheduled for 10th October 2020.
