The fire was said to have started from a building used as a warehouse and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Men of the Fire service are still trying to put out the fire.
Balogun market has been subject to series of fire outbreaks and this would be the 3rd fire outbreak in 4 months.
Traders have continued to seek for government assistance to ensure that goods worth millions of naira are not lost by fire.
