The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, says the FCT Administration will construct additional bus terminals in Bwari and Gwagwalada.

The minister explained that the decision to construct the additional terminals was to expand the initiative to the satellite towns to ensure inclusion in service delivery.

“We have agreed that we are going to construction one bus terminal in Gwagwalada and another in Bwari.

“This will enable people to board a taxi or bus from Bwari down to the city, either to the Mabushi Bus Terminal, Kugbo Terminal, or Central Area Bus Terminal and the same thing applies to Gwagwalada.

“By the time we have done that, people will be safe; and people will be secured.

“You can now go to any bus terminal, board a taxi, and go wherever you want to go without the fear of becoming a victim of “one chance”.

Once chance are criminals who posed as taxi drivers to snatch passengers of their valuables.

Wike warned that anyone who decided to board a taxi or bus by the roadside after the bus terminals had become operational would be at his or her own risk.

He stressed that the government has done what it was supposed to do by constructing bus terminals in strategic locations.
