FCT Security: Minister solicits police partnership
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has solicited the support and partnership of the FCT Police Command to check insecurity and vandalism of public assets in the Territory.
The Minister, who was represented by the Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Engr. Umar Jibrin, made the call while on courtesy visit to the new FCT Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma, recently.
The Minister expressed concern on the high rate of armed robbery and kidnapping on Bwari-Jere-Kaduna highway and the vandalism of street-lights, electricity cables, manholes and outright burning of transformers. He therefore sought for maximum support from the police boss to stem the tide.
