Family cries out over son’s whereabouts

The family of one Mr Anthony Vincent Ochi has cried out over his whereabouts.
This is also as the police have since declared him wanted.
Anthony Vincent, from Amofia Agu Affa, in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State is alleged to be a prominent member of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB.
Anthony’s distressed mother, Mrs Ochi, who spoke to journalists recently, lamented that ever since in the community, Anthony and his co-members of the MASSOB, have not been seen anywhere.
She lamented that even while her son’s whereabouts remain unknown, the security forces were still coming daily to torment her life.
According to her, “the last I heard from my son was in 2001 when he came back to Nigeria from Germany.
“Coincidentally, the security agencies were having issues with the MASSOB members.
“So, on that day, they stormed the community and claimed it was being used as a hideout by MASSOB members.
“My son identified himself and told them he was residing in Germany. They shouted that he must be one of those sponsoring MASSOB.
“That was how they bundled him and many others into their vehicles; before then, five persons had already been shot, including a woman.”
However, all our effort to locate him at the police stations in Nigeria was not successful.
Our reporters gathered that, after 14 years, some security operative came to the community and said that they got information that Mr Anthony Vincent Ochi was seen in the community.
They arrested some people for interrogation, and the people told them that the last time they saw him was in 2001 when he came back from Germany to Nigeria.
And that after his arrest nobody saw him again in the community.
One of arrested person, Mr. Emmanuel Ngwu told our reporters that from what he experienced in the hands of the security operatives, they might kill him if found anywhere in Nigeria.
