Ex-lawmaker tasks Nigerian youths on nation building

A second republic lawmaker with the Kwara House of Assembly, Chief Wole Oke on Monday charged Nigerian Youth to shun negative tendencies capable of retarding the progress and development of the country

Oke, who is a traditional title holder of Jagunmolu of Shao in Moro local government area of Kwara, gave the charge at a maiden Youth summit organised by Shao Youth Progressive Association.

The former lawmaker reminded the Nigerian Youth of various challenges before them that can assist the country become greater.

He advised them to shun use of illicit drugs, gambling prostitution and other sinful acts inimical to the good image and progress of Nigeria.

Oke urged Youth to always engage in meaningful ventures that can assist the economic growth and development of the country.
